How to become a professional chef

To become a professional chef having experience is a MUST! and by experience i mean working as cook and any other jobs in a restaurant. Schooling is also very important knowing how to take care of a buisness and knowing the history of foods is important. Economics and math are very important because if your gonna calculate food cost's you will need math. Chefs need a very comprehensive education to be successful. Being a chef means you have worked your way up in the food business and have experience.

  1. That sounds right that having education will improve your skill which I think also improves your creativity.

  2. Where does a chef's education come from? After they go to school will they have a job right away? Where does a chef's education start? Where does it end?
